The Spotlight Card features a full-screen video (or image) background with your content centered as an overlay — creating a dramatic, cinematic look.
What Makes It Unique
The entire page background is your media (video or image), with your profile information, links, and social icons floating on top as a centered card. This creates a visually impactful first impression.
Setting Up the Video Background
Open the editor and go to the Main tab
Click Upload Media
Select a video file (MP4 or WebM, max 10MB) or an image (JPG, PNG)
The video will play automatically and loop in the background
Video Tips
Use a video that loops smoothly for the best effect
Keep file size under 10MB for fast loading
Avoid videos with too much detail — your text needs to be readable on top
Consider using a slightly dark or muted video so text stands out
Image Alternative
If you prefer a static background, upload an image instead. It will display full-screen behind your content.
Editor Tabs
The Spotlight Card uses the standard 4-tab layout:
Main — background media, profile info, theme colors, content height
Social — social media links
Links — custom buttons
Advanced — SEO, tracking, geo-filtering
Content Height
The Content Height slider (300px–600px) lets you adjust how much vertical space your profile content takes up. This is useful for positioning your card overlay on top of the video background.
Tips
Test your page on mobile — make sure the video background looks good on smaller screens
Use contrasting text colors so your content is readable over the video
The video auto-plays and loops on supported browsers. Some mobile browsers may not auto-play video.
Consider using a solid color or blurred image as the frame background for the area outside the main content
