Sharing Your Affiliate Link and Tracking Referrals

Written by Bouncy Admin

Once you have created your affiliate account, you can start sharing your link and earning commissions. This article covers how to share your link effectively and how referral tracking works.

Your Affiliate Link

Your affiliate link follows this format:

https://bouncy.ai/your-code

For example, if your affiliate code is techreviewer, your link would be https://bouncy.ai/techreviewer.

How to Copy Your Link

From the Affiliate Dashboard

  1. Go to your Affiliate Dashboard (click "Affiliate Dashboard" in the sidebar).

  2. Your affiliate link is displayed near the top of the page.

  3. Click the Copy Link button to copy it to your clipboard.

From the Signup Confirmation

When you first create your affiliate account, your link is shown on the success screen with a Copy button.

Where to Share Your Link

You can share your affiliate link anywhere your audience might see it:

  • Social media -- Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok

  • Blog posts -- Write reviews or tutorials about Bouncy.ai and include your link

  • YouTube videos -- Add your link in video descriptions

  • Newsletters -- Include it in your email newsletter

  • Forums and communities -- Share in relevant discussions (always follow community rules)

  • Direct messages -- Send your link to colleagues or friends who might benefit from Bouncy

  • Your website -- Add a banner or text link

How Referral Tracking Works

When someone clicks your affiliate link:

  1. A referral cookie is stored in their browser, linking them to your affiliate code.

  2. The cookie lasts for 30 days. If they sign up within that window, the signup is credited to you.

  3. When they create a Bouncy.ai account, they appear in your Signups table on the dashboard.

  4. If they subscribe to a paid plan, the signup status changes from "Signup Only" to "Converted" and you begin earning commission.

Tracking in Your Dashboard

Your Affiliate Dashboard provides real-time tracking:

  • Total Signups -- The number of users who created an account through your link.

  • Purchases -- The number of signups who went on to subscribe to a paid plan, along with the conversion percentage.

  • Total Revenue -- Your total commission earned.

  • Available Balance -- The amount currently available for payout.

Each signup is listed in a table showing:

  • User name

  • Redacted email (first 3 characters visible, e.g., joh***@gmail.com)

  • Current plan

  • Total amount spent

  • Signup date

  • Status badge: Converted (green) or Signup Only (grey)

Tips for Maximizing Referrals

  • Be authentic -- Share your genuine experience with Bouncy.ai.

  • Target your audience -- Focus on people who would actually benefit from deeplinks (marketers, content creators, app developers, agencies).

  • Explain the value -- Do not just drop a link. Explain what Bouncy does and why you recommend it.

  • Create content -- Tutorials, walkthroughs, and case studies convert better than plain link drops.

  • Use multiple channels -- The more places you share, the more signups you are likely to get.
