Step 1 — Purchase a Domain

Buy a domain from any external provider such as:

  • GoDaddy

  • Namecheap

  • Spaceship

  • Or any registrar of your choice

Step 2 — Add Your Domain in Bouncy

  1. In your Bouncy dashboard, go to the left sidebar and click Custom Domains

  2. In the input field, type your domain (root domain or subdomain)

  3. Click Add Domain

Step 3 — View DNS Configuration

  1. After adding your domain, it will appear in your domain list

  2. Click View DNS to see the DNS records you need to set at your domain provider

Step 4 — Update DNS Records

A popup will appear showing:

  • Expected Values (what Bouncy requires)

  • Current Values (what your domain currently has)

Update your domain’s DNS settings at your registrar to match the expected values exactly.

Step 5 — Verify Your Domain

  1. Wait 10–15 minutes for DNS changes to update (sometimes it can take longer depending on your provider)

  2. Click Verify next to your domain in the Custom Domains list

  3. Once verified, your domain is ready to use with Bouncy

If everything is correctly set and you verify the domain, it should look like this:

💡 Tip: If your domain isn’t verifying after following the steps, it’s usually due to DNS propagation (can take up to 24 hours) or a configuration error.
