If your custom domain isn’t working with Bouncy, in 99% of cases the issue is caused by either DNS propagation delays or an incorrect DNS configuration.
⏳ 1. DNS Propagation
When you update DNS records, it can take up to 24 hours (sometimes longer) for changes to spread across the internet and it has nothing to do with your domain or Bouncy, it's how internet works.
During this time, your domain may work for some visitors but not others (and not for you because you previously already visited your domain)
This is normal and will resolve automatically once propagation is complete
⚙️ 2. DNS Configuration Errors
If your domain isn’t connected or is unable to verify after 24 hours, it’s usually because the DNS records weren’t set up correctly.
Double-check you’ve added the exact records provided in your Custom Domain setup instructions (A record, TXT record, CNAME record)
Ensure there are no extra conflicting records (such as old A or CNAME records pointing elsewhere)
Verify your DNS changes are saved in your registrar’s dashboard
