Direct Transfer
Currently, Bouncy does not have a built-in feature to automatically transfer links or websites between accounts. Each link and website is tied to the account that created it.
Workarounds
Recreating Links Manually
If you need to move links to a different account:
Note down the details of each link you want to transfer (slug, destination URL, domain, settings)
Log in to the new account
Recreate each link with the same settings
Delete the originals from the old account (to free up the slug)
Important: You must delete the original link before creating a new one with the same slug, since slugs must be unique across the platform.
Recreating Websites
For websites built in the Website Builder:
Take note of all your settings (template, links, social accounts, styling)
Create a new website on the new account using the same template
Re-enter your content and settings
Using the API
If you have many links to transfer, you can use the Bouncy API (available on paid plans) to:
Export your link data from the old account
Programmatically create links on the new account
This is faster than manual recreation for large numbers of links.
Team Management as an Alternative
If you want multiple people to manage the same links, consider using Team Management instead of transferring. On the Scaling plan (up to 5 members) or Dominance plan (unlimited members), you can invite team members to your workspace so they can access and manage your links.
See How to Create a Team for details.
