Notes let you add internal context to your deeplinks β€” reminders about what the link is for, which campaign it belongs to, or any other information you want to track.

How to Add or Edit Notes

From the Dashboard

  1. Find your deeplink on the Links dashboard

  2. Click the notes area on the link (on desktop, this is the Notes column in the table)

  3. Type your note directly β€” it's an inline editable field

  4. Press Enter or click outside the field to save

From the Context Menu

  1. Click the gear/settings icon on a link

  2. Look for the notes option

  3. Enter your text

Note Limits

  • Maximum 500 characters per note

  • A character counter appears while editing:

    • Shows X/500 characters

    • Turns orange at 80% (400 characters)

    • Turns red at 100% (500 characters)

What Notes Are For

Notes are internal only β€” visitors never see them. They're purely for your own organization. Common uses:

  • Tracking which campaign a link belongs to

  • Noting the client or project associated with a link

  • Reminding yourself why you created the link

  • Marking links that need updating

  • Quick reference for team members

Notes on Mobile vs Desktop

  • Desktop: Notes appear as a column in the links table and are editable inline

  • Mobile: Notes appear in the card view for each link

Tips

  • Keep notes concise β€” you only have 500 characters

  • Use consistent formatting if managing many links (e.g., always start with the campaign name)

  • Notes are searchable from the Dashboard search bar, so use relevant keywords
