The time range selector lets you control which period of data is displayed in your analytics. Whether you want to see today's traffic or the full lifetime of a link, you can adjust the view in a few clicks.
Where to Find It
The time range selector is located at the top of the analytics page, near the stats overview. It appears as a dropdown button showing the currently selected range (e.g., "Last 7 Days").
Preset Time Ranges
Click the time range selector to see a list of preset options:
Preset | What It Shows |
Today | Data from midnight today until now |
Yesterday | Data from midnight to midnight of the previous day |
Last 24 Hours | A rolling 24-hour window ending right now |
Last 48 Hours | A rolling 48-hour window ending right now |
Last 7 Days | The past 7 full days (this is the default view) |
Last 14 Days | The past 14 full days |
Last 30 Days | The past 30 full days |
Last 90 Days | The past 90 full days |
Last Week | The previous calendar week (Monday to Sunday) |
Last Month | The previous calendar month |
This Year | From January 1st of the current year until now |
All Time | All data since the link was created |
Custom | Choose your own start and end dates |
Understanding the Difference Between Rolling and Calendar Ranges
Some presets use rolling windows and others use calendar windows:
Rolling ranges (e.g., "Last 7 Days") always count backward from the current moment. If it's Wednesday at 3pm, "Last 7 Days" shows from last Wednesday at 3pm until now.
Calendar ranges (e.g., "Last Week", "Last Month") snap to calendar boundaries. "Last Week" shows the full previous Monday-through-Sunday, regardless of what day it currently is.
This matters when comparing performance over time. Calendar ranges give you clean week-over-week or month-over-month comparisons, while rolling ranges show you the most recent data without waiting for a period to end.
Using Custom Date Ranges
For maximum flexibility, you can choose any custom start and end date:
Click the time range selector
Select Custom from the list
A calendar date picker will appear
Click a start date on the calendar
Click an end date on the calendar
The analytics will update to show data for your selected range
Tips for Custom Ranges
You can select a single day by clicking the same date for both start and end
The calendar lets you navigate between months using the arrow buttons
Custom ranges are useful for analyzing specific campaigns, events, or promotional periods
There is no limit on how far back you can go — as long as the link existed and had data
How the Time Range Affects Your Analytics
Changing the time range updates all sections of the analytics page simultaneously:
Stats Overview — all metrics recalculate for the selected period
Growth Percentage — compares the selected period against the equivalent previous period (e.g., selecting Last 7 Days compares against the 7 days before that)
Performance Chart — the chart redraws to show data points within the selected range
World Map — updates to reflect geographic data for the period
Country Leaderboard — re-ranks countries based on the selected period
Device/Platform/Referrer Breakdowns — all recalculate for the selected period
Common Use Cases
Checking Campaign Performance
If you launched a marketing campaign on a specific date, use the Custom range to select from your launch date to today. This shows you exactly how the campaign has performed.
Comparing Weekday vs. Weekend
Use Last Week to see a full Monday-to-Sunday cycle. Look at the performance chart to identify when traffic peaks — weekday or weekend.
Monitoring Recent Changes
After updating a link's destination or sharing it on a new platform, switch to Today or Last 24 Hours to see if traffic patterns have changed.
Reviewing Monthly Performance
Use Last Month at the start of each month to review the previous month's performance as a clean calendar period.
