When you create a Bouncy.ai account with email and password, you must verify your email address before you can sign in. This helps protect your account and ensures that the email address belongs to you.
Why Is Email Verification Required?
Security: Verifying your email confirms that you own the address and prevents unauthorized account creation.
Communication: Bouncy uses your email to send important notifications such as password resets, billing receipts, and account alerts.
Account recovery: A verified email is required for password reset and account recovery.
How It Works
When you sign up with an email and password, Bouncy.ai sends a verification email to the address you provided.
You will see a message on the sign-in page: "Please check your email to verify your account."
Open the email and click the verification link.
Once verified, return to the sign-in page and log in with your email and password.
How to Resend the Verification Email
If you did not receive the verification email, or if it has expired:
Go to the Bouncy.ai sign-in page.
Enter your email and password.
Click Sign in.
If your email has not been verified, you will see the message: "Please verify your email before logging in."
A Resend Verification Email button will appear.
Click Resend Verification Email.
Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for the new verification email.
Common Issues
"Please verify your email before logging in."
Your email address has not been verified yet. Follow the resend steps above or check your inbox for the original verification email.
"Your email is already verified. Try logging in."
This means verification has already been completed. Simply sign in with your email and password.
I cannot find the verification email
Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
Make sure you are checking the correct email account.
Wait a few minutes -- emails can sometimes take a moment to arrive.
Try the resend process described above.
The verification link has expired
Verification links do expire after some time. Use the Resend Verification Email button to get a fresh link.
Google Sign-In Users
If you signed up using Sign in with Google, your email is automatically verified by Google. You do not need to go through a separate verification step.
