Create deep links that open YouTube content directly in the YouTube app.

YouTube Video

Opens a specific video in the YouTube app.

Parameter:

  • Video ID (required) — exactly 11 characters

  • Example: dQw4w9WgXcQ

Finding the Video ID

The Video ID is in the YouTube URL:

  • youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ — the ID is after v=

  • youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ — the ID is after the slash

YouTube Channel

Opens a YouTube channel page in the app.

Parameter:

  • Channel ID (required) — exactly 24 characters, must start with UC

Finding the Channel ID

Channel IDs start with UC and are found in the channel URL:

  • youtube.com/channel/UCxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Note: Some channels use custom URLs (e.g., youtube.com/@channelname). For those, use the User Handle template instead.

YouTube User Handle

Opens a YouTube creator's page by their @ handle.

Parameter:

  • Username (required) — 3–30 characters (without the @)

Example

Enter MrBeast to create a link that opens youtube.com/@MrBeast.

Tips

  • Use the Video template for sharing specific videos

  • Use the User Handle template for linking to a creator's channel when you know their @ name

  • Use the Channel template when you have the channel's UC-prefixed ID

  • The link opens in the YouTube app on mobile. On desktop, it opens the YouTube website.
