Adding a YouTube Video Embed to Your Website

Written by Bouncy Admin
Updated this week

You can embed YouTube videos directly on your Bouncy website page, displaying a playable video inline alongside your other links.

How to Add a YouTube Video

  1. Go to the Links tab in the website editor

  2. Click + Add Link

  3. Change the Link Type dropdown from "Button Link" to YouTube Video

  4. Paste the YouTube video URL

Supported URL Formats

You can paste any standard YouTube URL:

Bouncy automatically extracts the video ID and generates the embed.

What Visitors See

The YouTube video appears embedded directly on your page. Visitors can play it without leaving your site. It sits in the same content area as your button links.

Mixing Videos and Buttons

You can add both YouTube videos and button links on the same page. They appear in the order you add them. For example:

  1. Button: "My Instagram"

  2. YouTube: Your latest video

  3. Button: "My Website"

  4. YouTube: Another video

Tips

  • YouTube embeds are a great way to showcase your content without visitors leaving your page

  • Keep embeds to 1–2 videos to avoid making the page too long

  • Make sure the video is set to public or unlisted on YouTube — private videos won't embed
