Use the full international phone number without the + or any spaces/dashes:

How to Create
Go to Create App Link
Select WhatsApp
Choose Send Message
Enter the phone number in international format
Optionally enter a pre-filled message
Choose your domain and slug
Click Create
What the Visitor Sees
When someone clicks the link:
WhatsApp opens (or the web version on desktop)
A chat with the specified phone number is opened
If you added a pre-filled message, it appears in the text input ready to send
The visitor still needs to tap "Send" — the message isn't sent automatically.
