How to Change Your Bouncy Account Password

Keep your Bouncy.ai account secure by updating your password regularly. This guide walks you through changing your password from your Profile Settings page.


Requirements

Your new password must meet all of the following criteria:

  • At least 8 characters long

  • Contains at least one uppercase letter (A-Z)

  • Contains at least one lowercase letter (a-z)

  • Contains at least one number (0-9)


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your Bouncy.ai account.

  2. Click Profile in the left sidebar to open your Profile Settings.

  3. Expand the Profile Information section by clicking on it.

  4. Click the Change Password button at the bottom of the profile form.

  5. A password change form will appear with three fields:

    • Current Password -- Enter your existing password.

    • New Password -- Enter the password you want to switch to.

    • Confirm New Password -- Re-enter the new password to confirm it.

  6. Click Update Password.

  7. If successful, you will see a green confirmation message: "Password updated successfully!"


Common Issues

"New passwords do not match"

Double-check that the values in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields are identical.

"Password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number"

Make sure your new password satisfies all of the requirements listed above.

"Invalid request. Please check your current password."

The current password you entered is incorrect. Try again or use the Forgot Password flow if you cannot remember your current password.

"Unauthorized. Please log in again."

Your session may have expired. Sign out, sign back in, and try again.


Tips

  • Use a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password.

  • Never reuse a password you have used on another website.

  • After changing your password, you may be asked to sign in again on other devices.
