Written by Bouncy Admin

SEO settings control how your deeplink appears when shared on social media, in search results, and in browser tabs. These settings are available on paid plans (Growth and above).

Where to Find SEO Settings

  1. Go to the Create Deeplink or Edit Deeplink page

  2. Expand the Advanced Settings section

  3. Scroll to the SEO Settings sub-section

Basic SEO Fields

Favicon URL

The small icon that appears in the browser tab when someone visits your link.

Page Title

The title that appears in browser tabs and search results.

  • Placeholder: Your Page Title

  • Keep it under 60 characters for best display in search results

Meta Description

A brief summary of the page shown in search results below the title.

  • Placeholder: Brief description of your page

  • Keep it under 160 characters

Meta Keywords

Comma-separated keywords relevant to your content.

  • Placeholder: keyword1, keyword2, keyword3

Open Graph Settings (Social Sharing)

Open Graph tags control how your link appears when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other platforms that support OG previews.

OG Image URL

The preview image shown when your link is shared on social media.

OG Type

The type of content. Options:

  • Website (default)

  • Article

  • Product

  • Profile

OG Site Name

The name of your website/brand.

  • Placeholder: Your Site Name

Twitter Card Settings

These tags control how your link appears when shared on Twitter/X.

Twitter Card Type

The layout style. Options:

  • summary_large_image (default) — large image preview

  • summary — small image preview

  • app — app promotion card

  • player — video/audio player card

Twitter Image URL

The image shown in the Twitter preview. Can be different from your OG image.

Twitter Handle

Your Twitter/X username (e.g., @yourhandle).

Custom Meta Tags

For advanced users, you can add arbitrary meta tags to your link's page.

  1. Click Add Custom Meta Tag

  2. Enter the Name (the meta tag name attribute)

  3. Enter the Content (the meta tag content attribute)

  4. Add as many as needed

  5. Click the X button on any tag to remove it

This is useful for platform-specific meta tags not covered by the standard fields.

Tips

  • Always add an OG image — links shared on social media without an image get significantly less engagement

  • Keep titles concise — most platforms truncate titles after 60 characters

  • Test your previews — after setting up OG tags, use tools like the Facebook Sharing Debugger or Twitter Card Validator to check how your link will appear

  • Use high-quality images — blurry or low-resolution OG images look unprofessional
