Using the Global Dashboard — Aggregate Analytics Across All Links

Written by Bouncy Admin
Updated this week

The Global Dashboard gives you a bird's-eye view of your entire link portfolio. Instead of checking analytics one link at a time, the Global Dashboard aggregates data from all your links into a single unified view.

Availability

The Global Dashboard is available on paid plans only. If you're on the free plan, you'll need to upgrade to access this feature.

Accessing the Global Dashboard

Navigate to /global-dashboard from your Bouncy account, or look for the Global Dashboard option in your sidebar navigation.

What You'll See

Aggregate Stats

At the top of the Global Dashboard, you'll see high-level metrics across all your links:

Metric

Description

Total Views

The combined view count across every link you own

Active Links

How many of your links are currently active (not disabled)

Avg Views per Link

Your total views divided by the number of links, giving you a sense of average link performance

Growth

The overall growth trend across all your links compared to the previous period

These metrics respond to the time range you select, just like individual link analytics.

Aggregate Performance Chart

The performance chart shows your combined traffic over time. This is the same style of area chart you see on individual link analytics, but it aggregates views from all your links into a single line.

This view is especially useful for:

  • Understanding your total traffic volume at a glance

  • Spotting overall trends (are things growing or shrinking across the board?)

  • Identifying days with unusually high or low combined traffic

Top Performers Widget

The Top Performers section shows your top 8 links ranked by view count within the selected time range. For each link, you'll see:

  • The link URL or name

  • Its total view count for the period

This quickly highlights which links are driving the most traffic without needing to check each one individually.

Timezone Selector

The Global Dashboard includes a timezone selector that lets you view your data in different timezones. Available options include:

  • Local Time — your browser's local timezone (default)

  • UTC — Coordinated Universal Time

  • ET — US Eastern Time

  • CT — US Central Time

  • MT — US Mountain Time

  • PT — US Pacific Time

  • London — UK time (GMT/BST)

  • CET — Central European Time

  • Tokyo — Japan Standard Time

  • China — China Standard Time

  • Sydney — Australian Eastern Time

Changing the timezone affects how data points are grouped on the chart and how daily boundaries are calculated. For more details, see Understanding Timezone Settings.

Export Options

The Global Dashboard supports exporting your analytics data in two formats:

CSV Export

Export your aggregate data as a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file. This is ideal for:

  • Opening in spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets)

  • Running your own calculations and analysis

  • Sharing raw data with team members or clients

  • Importing into other analytics tools

PDF Export

Export a formatted PDF report of your Global Dashboard. The PDF includes visual elements like charts and stats, making it suitable for:

  • Client reports and presentations

  • Monthly performance summaries

  • Archiving analytics snapshots

  • Sharing with stakeholders who don't have Bouncy access

For detailed export instructions, see Exporting Analytics as PDF or CSV.

Using the Global Dashboard Effectively

Weekly Performance Reviews

Set a recurring time each week to check the Global Dashboard. Select "Last 7 Days" to see your week's performance:

  1. Check Total Views — is your overall traffic up or down?

  2. Look at Growth — how does this week compare to last week?

  3. Review Top Performers — are the same links always on top, or are new ones emerging?

  4. Check the chart for any unusual spikes or dips

Identifying Underperformers

If you have many active links but your Avg Views per Link is low, some links might be dragging down the average. Check the Top Performers list — if the same 2-3 links account for most traffic, the rest might need attention (updated destinations, fresh promotion, etc.).

Campaign Monitoring

During marketing campaigns, check the Global Dashboard daily to see how the campaign is affecting your overall traffic. A successful campaign should create a visible uptick in the aggregate chart.

Client Reporting

If you manage links for clients, use the PDF export to generate clean reports. Set the time range to the reporting period (Last Month, custom date range, etc.) and export.
