Bouncy's Shopify connection lets you see exactly how much revenue your links drive. Every purchase that starts with a click on one of your Bouncy links gets traced back to that link, including sales from shoppers Bouncy rescued out of broken in-app browsers on Instagram, TikTok, and other apps.
What you need
A Bouncy account on the Growth plan or above
A Shopify store you administer
Step 1: Connect the store
In Bouncy, open Connections from your dashboard.
On the Shopify card, click Connect store.
Enter your store's myshopify.com domain, for example
my-store.myshopify.com. You can find it in your Shopify admin under Settings, Domains.Shopify will ask you to approve the connection. Bouncy requests read access to orders only. It cannot change anything in your store, see customer personal details, or touch your products.
Once approved, you land back in Bouncy with the store showing as connected.
Step 2: Turn on the tracking snippet
This is the piece that carries the attribution from the click to the order.
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store, Themes and click Customize on your current theme.
In the theme editor's left icon strip, click the puzzle-piece icon labeled App embeds.
Toggle on Bouncy Attribution and click Save.
The snippet is invisible to shoppers, does not change how your store looks or performs, and never touches customer personal information.
Step 3: Use your links
That's the whole setup. Any Bouncy link that points at your store now attributes automatically. Purchases made within 7 days of the click count toward your revenue; purchases with no connected click never do.
Your numbers appear in three places:
The Revenue dashboard, your full report
The Recovered Revenue section on your Global Dashboard
Each link's own analytics page
Connecting more than one store
Repeat step 1 for each store. Your Revenue dashboard shows a per-store breakdown automatically.
Disconnecting
On the Connections page, click Disconnect next to the store. Tracking stops immediately. You can also uninstall the Bouncy Attribution app from your Shopify admin; both do the same cleanup.
