The number of team members you can invite depends on your Bouncy plan. This article explains the limits and what to do if you need more.
Team Member Limits by Plan
Plan | Team Members | Notes |
Free | 1 | Just you — no team features |
Growth | 1 | Just you — no team features |
Scaling | 5 | Includes you + 4 invited members |
Dominance | Unlimited | No cap on team size |
The member count includes you (the Owner). So on the Scaling plan with a limit of 5, you can invite up to 4 additional people.
Team Features by Plan
Free and Growth Plans
Team management is not available on the Free and Growth plans. These plans support a single user only. If you need team collaboration, upgrade to Scaling or Dominance.
Scaling Plan
The Scaling plan includes full team features for up to 5 members:
Create a team
Invite up to 4 additional members
Assign Owner, Admin, and Member roles
View the activity log
Manage member roles and access
When inviting members on the Scaling plan, the invite modal shows your remaining member slots (e.g., "3 of 5 slots used").
Dominance Plan
The Dominance plan has unlimited team members:
No cap on the number of people you can invite
All team management features included
Ideal for agencies, large businesses, and growing organizations
What Happens When You Hit the Limit?
If you're on the Scaling plan and have reached 5 members:
You cannot send new invites — the invite button will be disabled or show a limit message
Existing members are unaffected — everyone currently on the team retains their access
Pending invites count — invitations that haven't been accepted yet still count toward your limit
Your Options
Remove an existing member to free up a slot — see How to Remove a Team Member
Cancel a pending invite to free up a slot
Upgrade to Dominance for unlimited team members — see How to Upgrade Your Plan
How to Check Your Current Team Size
Go to Team in the sidebar
The members table shows all current members and pending invites
Count the entries to see how many slots you've used
On the Scaling plan, the invite modal shows your remaining capacity
Frequently Asked Questions
Do pending invites count toward my limit?
Yes. A pending invite (one that hasn't been accepted yet) counts as one team member slot.
If I remove a member, can I invite someone else?
Yes. Removing a member immediately frees up that slot for a new invitation.
What happens to team members if I downgrade from Dominance to Scaling?
If you have more than 5 team members and downgrade to Scaling, excess members may lose access at the end of your billing period. You'll need to reduce your team to 5 or fewer members.
What happens to team members if I downgrade from Scaling to Growth?
Team features are removed on the Growth plan. Your team members will lose access. Your links and data remain intact.
Can I have multiple teams?
Currently, each account supports one team. If you need multiple teams, consider using separate Bouncy accounts.
