Once you've created a team, you can invite others to join and collaborate on your links. This guide explains how to invite team members.
Who Can Invite Team Members?
Owners can invite anyone
Admins can invite new members
Members cannot invite others
How to Invite a Team Member
Step 1: Open Team Management
Navigate to Team in the sidebar to see your team page.
Step 2: Open the Invite Modal
Click the Invite Member button (or Add Member button) at the top of the team page.
Step 3: Enter Member Details
A modal will appear with two fields:
Email address — enter the email of the person you want to invite
Role — choose a role from the dropdown:
Member — standard access with limited permissions
Admin — elevated access with management capabilities
See Understanding Team Roles for a full breakdown of what each role can do.
Step 4: Send the Invite
Click Send Invite or Invite to send the invitation. The invited person will receive an email with a link to join your team.
What the Invited Person Sees
The invited team member receives an email containing a team invite link. When they click the link:
They're taken to a team invite acceptance page at
app.bouncy.ai/team-invite?token=...If they already have a Bouncy account, they can accept the invite by logging in
If they don't have an account, they'll need to create one first, then accept the invite
Tracking Invite Status
On the Team page, the members table shows a Status column. Invited members appear with a status of:
Pending — invite sent but not yet accepted
Active — invite accepted, member is part of the team
Plan Limits for Invitations
The number of team members you can invite depends on your plan:
Plan | Maximum Team Members |
Free | 1 (just you) |
Growth | 1 (just you) |
Scaling | 5 |
Dominance | Unlimited |
If you're on the Scaling plan, the invite modal will show how many member slots you have remaining. Once you've reached the limit, you'll need to remove an existing member or upgrade to Dominance to invite more.
Tips
Use the correct email — make sure you enter the exact email address the person will use to log in to Bouncy
Start with the Member role — you can always promote someone to Admin later. See Changing a Team Member's Role
Check your plan limit — before inviting, confirm you have available slots
