Customising Your Adult Warning Page

Written by Bouncy Admin
Updated this week

Premium warning page templates let you adjust colours, gradients, images, and icons so the age verification gate matches your brand. This guide walks through every customisation option available.

Note: Customisation is only available on premium templates (Growth plan and above). Free templates use a fixed design. See Choosing an Adult Warning Page Template for the full template list.

How to Open the Customiser

  1. Go to the Create Deeplink or Edit Deeplink page

  2. Expand Advanced Settings

  3. Enable the Adult Content Warning toggle

  4. Click Customise Warning Page

  5. Select a premium template from the grid

  6. The customisation panel appears below the template grid

Changes are reflected immediately in the preview.

Using Custom Images

For the Full Bleed Image and Cute / Kawaii templates, you can provide image URLs:

  2. Use a publicly accessible URL (the image must load for visitors)

  3. Recommended formats: .jpg, .png, or .webp

  4. For background GIFs (Cute / Kawaii), use a .gif URL

Where to host images: You can use any image hosting service — Imgur, Cloudinary, your own website, or even a direct link from social media.

Saving Your Customisation

After adjusting your settings:

  1. Click Save at the bottom of the customiser panel

  2. Your template choice and configuration are saved to the deeplink

  3. The customisation applies immediately — the next visitor who clicks your link will see the updated warning page

Resetting to Defaults

To reset a premium template back to its default colours:

  • Select the template again from the grid — it will reload with its original default values

  • Or manually set each field back to the default colour shown in the preset list
