Previewing Your Adult Warning Page

Written by Bouncy Admin
Updated this week

Before publishing your deeplink, you can preview exactly how the adult warning page will look to visitors on both mobile and desktop devices.

How to Open the Preview

  1. Go to the Create Deeplink or Edit Deeplink page

  2. Expand Advanced Settings

  3. Enable the Adult Content Warning toggle

  4. Click Customise Warning Page

  5. Click on any template card in the grid — this opens the full-screen preview modal

The Preview Modal

When you click a template, a full-screen modal opens with:

  • A live preview of the warning page rendered exactly as visitors will see it

  • Device toggle buttons at the top — switch between Mobile and Desktop views

  • A customisation panel on the side (for premium templates) where you can adjust colours, images, and settings in real time

Mobile Preview

The mobile preview shows your warning page inside a phone frame with rounded corners, giving you an accurate representation of how it looks on a smartphone. This is the default view since most link clicks come from mobile devices.

Desktop Preview

Click the Desktop (monitor) icon to see how the warning page renders on a full-width browser window. The preview expands to fill the available width.

Live Customisation in Preview

For premium templates, the customisation panel appears alongside the preview:

  • On desktop: The editor panel is fixed to the right side of the preview

  • On mobile: Tap the Customise button at the bottom to slide up the editor panel

Any changes you make — colours, gradients, images, icons — update the preview instantly. This lets you experiment with different looks before committing.

Saving and Applying

Once you're happy with how the preview looks:

  1. Click the Use Template button (or Save & Use if you've customised a premium template) at the bottom of the preview modal

  2. The template and any customisation settings are saved to your deeplink

  3. The modal closes and you're returned to the deeplink editor

  4. Click Save on the deeplink page to publish your changes

Tips

  • Always check mobile view — most visitors will see your warning page on a phone

  • Test with images — if you're using the Full Bleed Image or Cute / Kawaii template, make sure your images load correctly in the preview before saving

  • Try multiple templates — you can click through different templates in the grid without losing your place; each one opens its own preview

  • Changes aren't saved until you confirm — closing the preview modal without clicking Save discards any customisation changes
